Quality of Life in Healthcare

First Long-Term Care Facility Accredited by JCI in the Emirates

QUALITY COMMITMENT

We do not compromise on our quality of care.

Our Abu Dhabi based facility successfully met the international healthcare quality standards for patient care and organisation management in a long-term care environment and has been awarded Joint Commission International Accreditation (JCIA) early in 2013,  making it the first facility for the long-term care of ventilated patients to be awarded JCIA in the UAE.  JCIA standards for long term care address quality improvement issues for non-acute settings, such as assisted-living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and chronic care facilities. Complete assessments include resident care and rights, medication management, resident and family education, infection prevention, and a variety of other performance-related topics. JCIA will be extended soon to our Al Ain facility which already works under the successful quality regime applied to Abu Dhabi.

QUALITY OF LIFE

It is our mission to improve the quality of life of our residents by providing excellent medical care, rehabilitation and social integration guided by the individual needs of our residents.

Our patient-centric care model and our internationally trained staff who follows recognized best practice ensures medical excellence and uncompromising quality and service for those we care for. The team of therapists at ProVita plays a  vital role in enhancing the quality of life and promoting rehabilitation for each of our residents. In a chronic care setting such as ProVita, therapists view individuals in a holistic manner. People are intrinsically active and creative, needing to engage in a balanced range of activities in their daily lives in order to maintain health and wellbeing. Our team of therapists promote function, quality of life and the realization of potential in people who are experiencing occupational deprivation, imbalance or alienation.
