Dr. Shakunthala Shivaramaiah
Dr. Shakunthala K.S. completed her MBBS in 1991 from Bangalore University in 1990. She did her Post graduation in Anesthesiology from Karnataka University, India and obtained her Masters MD in the year 1995.
After working as Specialist in MOH hospital, in Saudi Arabia from 2001-2009, she came to the UAE in 2009. She worked at Rashid Hospital, Dubai in the department of Anesthesia/ICU, and in Al Ain Hospital till August 2013. She joined ProVita International Medical Center L.L.C – Al Ain in September 2013 and brings with her; extensive experience in the management of General, Acute Trauma, Obstetric, Pediatric and Intensive care unit patients.
Dr. Khaled Mahmoud Aboeldahab

Dr. Khaled completed his MBBCh in 1993 and started as a resident critical care medicine at Alexandria faculty of medicine at Alexandria University (Egypt). He finished Master degree of intensive care Medicine on 1999 at Alexandria faculty of medicine at Alexandria University (Egypt). Dr Khaled worked in KSA as specialist critical care medicine in King Abulaziz Airbase Hospital and National Guards Hospital in Jeddah. Dr Khaled started working In Abu Dhabi 2009 As specialist Critical Care Medicine Mafraq Hospital till 2014 after which he joined Provita International Medical Center.
Dr. Ahmad Al Khayer

Dr. Ahmad Al Khayer, Consultant Physical & Rehabilitation Medicine, Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services Dr. Al Khayer brings over 20 years of medical experience with him to ProVita. He joins us as from Al Ahli Hospital, Qatar, where he established a revolutionary department specializing in physical and rehabilitation medicine. Prior to that, he worked in the United Kingdom as a consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at the North Staffordshire Rehabilitation Centre. He also worked briefly in the Republic of Ireland and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Al Khayer completed his training in the field of Rehabilitation Medicine in the West of Scotland deanery, UK. He also completed a clinical fellowship in advanced pain medicine at the Greater Glasgow & Clyde NHS Trust, UK, and a clinical research fellowship in Spinal disorders at the Centre for Spinal Studies and Surgery. Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham, UK. Dr. Al Khayer is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow, a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, a Fellow of the European Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine Society, and a Fellow of the International Society of Quality in Healthcare. He is a regular contributor to international peer-reviewed medical journals such as the ‘International Journal of Therapies and Rehabilitation Research’, and is a reviewer of the journal ‘Spine’. Dr. Al Khayer’s approach to clinical care is largely grounded on the holistic multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary models. He firmly believes in working closely with the patient and his family in order to develop patient-centered rehabilitation goals. His focus areas include general rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, as well as interventional rehabilitation management procedures. Through his role at ProVita, Dr. Al Khayer will collaborate with the team to ensure that only the highest quality of rehabilitation care is provided to patients, and to strengthen the center as a provider of long and short-term post-acute rehabilitative care in the UAE.
Dr. Jamil Itani, M.D.
Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services
Dr. Jamil finished his medical school in 1999 at Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy. After Graduation he joined the Pediatric Department at Berbir Hospital in Beirut, as a pediatrician – hospitalist. In 2001 he joined the Pediatric Residency Program at MGH/AUBmc – Beirut. Dr. Jamil graduated in 2004 and worked as a pediatrician in a private practice. He also participated in general CME activities and has been an active member of Tawam Life Support Training Center as PALS and NRP instructor. Dr. Jamil joined ProVita in February 2012.
Dr. Adnan Omar Ramadan AL-Sheikh Hasan
Pediatric & Intensive Care Specialist
Dr. Adnan Hasan joined ProVita in June 2014 bringing in vast experience in the pediatric intensive care and airway management, conventional and high-frequency pediatric ventilation in the last 13 years of his professional career. Prior to his tenure at ProVita, he spent five years in King Khalid university hospital Riyadh/KSA and six years at Tawam hospital as a PICU specialist He finished his MBBS degree in medicine from University of Salahaldin / Iraq in 1988 and completed a post-graduation residency program in pediatrics, receiving his high specialization degree in pediatrics in 2002 from Jordan University of Science and Technology and Jordan Board specialization in Pediatrics in the same year.
Dr. Anayat Mustaffa
Dr. Anayat Mustaffa is an accomplished doctor who has rich experience in various fields of medicine including cardiology, intensive and critical care medicine.
Having graduated from Odessa State Medical University, Ukraine in June 2001, he invoked enormous clinical experience as Resident Medical Officer in Medical College Srinagar, India and also at New Delhi, India. He also served in MOH – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as Resident ICU & Accident & Emergencies for a period of 2 years (2006-2008) where he acquired extensive clinical experience in managing all kinds of medical and surgical emergencies including Trauma. However his passion for the field of Cardiology compelled him to pursue a WHO recognized certified Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology in June 2010, which is a Two (2) years full time Course in Non-Invasive Cardiology (PGDCC) under the aegis of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) at Fortis Escorts Heart and Research Institute, New Delhi, India followed by a prolonged stint at reputed hospital – Medanta, The Medicity (JCI Accredited) which is the 1250 bedded Super Specialty Hospital in Gurgaon, Haryana (INDIA) as Registrar in Cardiology. He also completed one year Fellowship Programme in Non – Invasive Cardiology (January 2012-December 2012) run by Medanta, The Medicity and approved by Indian Academy of Echocardiography.
He has been exposed to wide array of Non Invasive Cardiology, that includes: 2D Transthoracic Echocardiography, Pharmacological / Physiological Stress Echocardiography, Carotid Doppler, Peripheral Doppler, 24-Hour Holter Interpretation, 24 Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Interpretation, TMT Interpretation, Stress Thallium (Department of Nuclear Medicine), Transesophageal Echocardiography Assistance and was involved in regular academic activities in the form of Case Presentations, CMEs, and live demonstrations of various echo Techniques.
Dr. Eulalie Burger
Dr. Eulalie Burger graduated as a General Practitioner from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and was awarded the Deans prize for best research in 2004. In 2007, after her Internship and Community Service year, she began work as an Independent General Practitioner. With extensive experience in adult and pediatric medicine, Dr. Burger has worked in Accident and Emergency, Outpatient Departments and Chronic Diseases Clinics, an Infectious Diseases hospital as well as Neonatal High Care. This experience was gained in South Africa, the Republic of Ireland and the United Arab Emirates.
Prior to joining ProVita Al Ain, Dr. Burger worked in Al Ain as a GP in mother and child health, where she qualified as a Lactation consultant and a BLS Instructor.
Dr. Kim C. Sarmiento, M.D.
General Practitioner, Clinical Operations Advisor
Dr. Kim Crisostomo Sarmiento obtained his M.D. degree in 2004 at the University of the Visayas, Gullas College of Medicine, Cebu, Philippines. After graduation, he enjoyed extensive training as a General Practitioner in the management of pediatric infectious diseases, adult chronic medical conditions and trauma cases.
He is experienced in both minor and major surgical procedures and emergency medicine. Prior to joining ProVita, he was practicing in Dubai as General Practitioner at First Medical Center and as Medical Director of Al Mariya Polyclinic, respectively. He also gained extensive experience as Medical Consultant in Healthcare Management at Neuron LLC, one of the leading Third Party Administrators in the UAE.
Dr. Lathika Jayaram Menon
Lathika completed her MBBS in 1987 at Delhi University. She did post-graduation in anaesthesiology and intensive care from Delhi University and obtained her MD in the year 1991. She has extensively trained in trauma care, pediatric and obstetric anaesthesia and critical care.
After working as specialist in MOH hospitals in Libya and Oman, she came to the UAE in 2005. She was working as specialist intensivist in Al Ain hospital before joining ProVita.
Dr.Magdi Lutfi Ibrahim Mikhail
Dr. Magdi joined the ministry of health in April 1975, where he interned in the e.n.t. pediatric obstetrics and gynecology, general medicine and surgery. after that, he worked in wad Madani hospital in orthopedic and e.n.t. for one year. he joined Khartoum teaching hospital from 1977 to July 1979 in the e.n.t. as a medical registrar. from July 1979 to December 2015, he joined the medical services corporation where he worked in the royal guard(presidential guard) from 1979 to 1983 and participated in the first GCCE conference. he joined Zayed military hospital emergency department from may 1992 to December 2015. Dr. Mohammad Al Masri

Dr. Mohammad Al. Masri joined ProVita in April 2014 bringing in vast experience in pediatric intensive care and airway management gained in the last 11 years of his professional career. Prior to his tenure at ProVita, he spent six years at Tawam hospital as a PICU specialist.
He finished his MBBS degree in medicine from Jordan University in 1998 and completed a post-graduation residency program in pediatrics, receiving his MD in 2003 from Jordan University of Science and Technology.
Dr. Mouhamad El Hayek
Dr. El-Hayek has finished his Medical School from Bucharest University in 1986 graduated as Doctor in General medicine; Joint American University of Beirut and Makassed general Hospital in 1987 and graduated as Specialist General Pediatrician in 1991. Joined Tawam Hospital in 1995 for 16 years as Specialist Pediatrics. Published 27 papers in local, regional and international medical journals. Reviewer in many International Medical Journals. Clinical Assistant Professor at College of Medicine and Health Sciences-UAE University, Al Ain, Department of pediatrics for 9 years. Licensed as Specialist Pediatrician in Lebanon and UAE. Dr. Mohammed Amin Fadol

Dr. Mohammed Amin Fadol graduated from the university of Juba in the republic of Sudan in 2004. He completed his internship in Sudan and worked as a medical officer in many hospitals. In 2010 he moved to the UAE where he started practicing with Taha medical center. Before joining ProVita in August 2013, he also worked at Ultra care medical center & Al Ain Cromwell Hospital. He is on his way to complete the membership of Royal college of pediatrics (RCPCH) & has already cleared the 1st & 2nd part.
Dr. Neven Mitrovic has started his Medical School at the University of Zagreb in 1979 and graduated as Doctor of General Medicine in 1985. After 4.5 years training in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, in 1994 he graduated as a Specialist in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine from Medical School of University of Zagreb. Next 15 years he was working at Regional General Hospital Zadar as a Specialist in Anesthesia and ICM. In 2008 Dr.Neven joined United Nation Mission in Timor-Leste in the role of Anesthesiologist and ICM specialist. In 2013 he was shortly working at United Nation Hospital in Mogadishu. He continued his career in UAE in 2014 at Al Noor Hospital, Abu Dhabi and in June 2015 he joined the medical team at ProVita International Medical Center.
Dr. Raafat Aly Ahmad Ammar

Dr. Raafat Ammar joined ProVita on October 2014 as a specialist physician He graduated from Cairo University, kasr al Ainy school of medicine in the year 1989. He also completed his Master in cardiology from the same Cairo University in 1996. He got his MRCP in general medicine form Ireland at 2011. After graduation in 1989, he joined Kobri al Kobba Military Hospital for one and half year in cardiology where he managed the cardiology consults and CCU patients and practiced noninvasive cardiology techniques. Then in 1993, he moved to Nasser Institute Hospital as residency program then became specialist intensivist where he worked in different ICU of that big hospital including general medical, cardiac, post cardiac surgery, trauma, neuro and stroke ICUs... In 1998 he Joined KSA and assigned as head of ICU in MCH( maternity and children hospital) in Al Hassa for 6 years.He also joined national guard in KSA as intensivist on locum basis.In 2007 he moved to UAE where he Joined Tawam Hospital as specialist intensivist where they have a lot of medical and trauma patients in their ICU. He also handled a lot of oncology critical cases as the hospital is considered the major oncology center allover UAE. With his wide experience in ICU and cardiology for more than 22 years, His special interest was in General medical, surgical and trauma ICU.
